Poles t' Jump
Friday 8th November
With
Christine Shubrook BS Accredited Coach.
This session will work on exercises using poles, in trot and canter, to improve horse & rider balance. We will work more in canter than trot with the aim of jumping a small fence at the end of the session (max 60cm).
There will be focus on the skills needed as the basis for jumping a course of fences - rhythm, correct bend, adjustable canter, straightness and energy.
£30
30 minutes 1-2-1 or group.
The exercises will work toward improving the quality of canter, getting a canter with the right length and strength, ready to jump. Even if you are not planning to jump higher this type of 'gym work' will give your horse a good work out.
Maximum 3 in the group
30 minute 1-2-1 sessions are available, which maybe a better option for horses first trip out or those that are excitable in a group.
Don't forget we have an indoor school so the weather and light aren't a problem, and neither is the sun!.
